Everyone has a story to tell: Mike Pandey

Wildlife Documentary Filmmaker Mike Pandey said that everyone has a story to tell, but few know the grammar and structure needed to make their stories into celluloid . He was speaking at the Face 2 Face conducted as a part of the 6th IDSFFK.  Due to the digitalization of cinema, making films has been very easy now-a-days. The equipment needed to make a film became very cheap. Resultantly a lot of filmmakers are being able to make films, but all of them are not aware of the technicalities of film, opined Mike Pandey.
Sanyuktha Sharma , third year Student of Film and TV in Pune and  director of  music video “Soja Rajakumari”   said that her music video is the remixed version of the old Saigal song.  Ruchir Arun’s “Small Time Crooks” is also a music video. His work is based on the subject of the losing of innocence. Triloknath Arivelu’s Tamil Music Video “Nenaivugal (Memories)” is about the memories we have time-to-time.
Sanal Kumar Sasidharan (director of “Frog”) replied to a question about ‘message-orientation in films’ by saying that “the message we give out is connected with the society in which we live and since we are influenced by the society, the message functions as a reflection of ourselves.”
The others participated in the programme were Arum Kumar, Vincent Jose , Shemin B Nair , Abhishek K. and  John Lanjo .
Mammad Montage hosted the programme.
