The films that make the camera
green and portray the contemporary India are all set to give a gala for the
audience. Films of renowned film activists like Mike Pandey and Deepa Dhanraj are
expected to capture the delegates’ attraction and influence their political
insight. With variety and newness in content, narration and treatment, 45 films
including 16 in competition from different genres like Campus films,
music videos, animation and short documentary are scheduled for today. Five
films of the Green Oscar Winner Mike Pandey, three films of Deepa Dhanraj, two
films by the famous film critic and documentary maker Noel Burch and a Swiss
film ‘Hiver Nomade’ from the Vision De Reel package are today’s
highlights.
